Polen heeft veel natuur: bergen (Tatra), bossen, meren (Mazurië) en stranden aan de Baltische Zee.

De cultuur is traditioneel maar gastvrij. Familie, religie (rooms-katholiek) en feesten spelen een grote rol.

Eten: pierogi (gevulde deegkussentjes), bigos (zuurkoolstoofpot), żurek (zure soep) en heerlijke taarten.

Veel festivals, van klassieke muziek tot moderne techno en folk.
